sweet dreams
sweet dreams is my current novel, which I’m not sure I can complete. It’s intended as a Young Adult-Romance type of novel, which I must admit is not my forte. (What do you expect from a girl with no hormones? LOL…) I just wanted to try a new literary genre, that’s all.
UPDATE: I’ve finished the entire novel already and have deleted the preview pages so as to give way to my submission to the publishing house. Look forward to sweet dreams being published!
sweet dreams Synopsis: Since her freshman year, Hailey has been having dreams, dreams of a boy. With each dream she has, her feelings for this boy continue growing. When she meets Kenneth, the new transferee student, Hailey right away recognizes him as the boy from her dreams. Driven by her strong feelings, she makes an effort to get Kenneth to notice her. The two of them become friends while a certain incident reveals their feelings for each other. Soon, Hailey and Kenneth start going on dates, and on the awaited Sophomores’ Night, Kenneth even sings one of his compositions especially for Hailey. Things seem to be going pretty well until Hailey decides to pay Kenneth a surprise visit at his house. It is there that Hailey finally realizes the truth about the boy from her dreams. Torn apart by great confusion, Hailey must somehow disregard any feelings she has for the boy from her dreams and decide who she really owes her true feelings…
